Learning Spanish together
Learning a language is so much nicer when you can share it with other people.
Our Spanish classes are small, friendly and relaxed. We learn together, practise speaking, listen to each other, make mistakes, have a laugh and gradually become more confident.
There’s no pressure and no need to get everything right. Just a welcoming group, a chance to use some Spanish, and the enjoyment of learning something new together.
Spanish for Holidays 1
A1/A2
10-WEEK COURSE

Spanish for Holidays is ideal for complete beginners, beginners, or anyone who already knows a little Spanish and would like to practise and refresh their skills.
You don’t need to have studied Spanish before. We’ll take things at a comfortable pace and focus on useful, everyday Spanish that you can use while travelling while enjoying learning and practising together in a friendly, relaxed group.

By the end of the course, you should feel more comfortable and confident using Spanish in everyday situations. You’ll have the chance to:
Say hello, introduce yourself and start getting to know people in Spanish.
Have simple conversations and enjoy having a go at speaking.
Ask and answer questions about yourself, your work and your everyday life.
Talk about your family and the people who are important to you.
Describe people and talk about their appearance and personality.
Share the things you like and don’t like.
Put your Spanish into practice in real-life situations and feel more confident giving it a go.

In our lessons, we take a communicative approach, with a focus on using Spanish in a natural and meaningful way. Rather than spending our time learning grammatical rules and structures, we learn through conversation, interaction and real-life situations.
We believe grammar is an important part of learning a language, but it works best when you can see it and use it in context. We’ll introduce the essential grammar you need along the way, while keeping the main focus on communicating, understanding and enjoying using Spanish.

You’ll receive a specially prepared course booklet on the first day, with everything you’ll need to support your learning along the way.
You might also like to bring a notebook and pen for making your own notes, writing down new words or keeping track of things you’d like to practise between classes.

The course fee is £135, which includes your specially prepared course booklet.
If you’re unable to make one of your usual sessions, you can also join the same course at another venue, so you don’t have to miss out on your Spanish.

La tertulia 1 Conversational Spanish
(A2/B1)
10-WEEK COURSE

La Tertulia 1 is for anyone who already knows some Spanish and would like to practise using it in a relaxed, friendly setting. It’s especially suitable for people who have been learning Spanish on their own and have a good grasp of the basics.
You don’t need to be fluent or feel completely confident speaking, just come along, have a go and enjoy chatting in Spanish with others.
